I left the Passau-WG and startet to a small tour trough the three-rivers-city. :) The weatherforecast was terrible with hard rain for monday and tempest warnings for tuesday. But the plan to arrive at the 10th of april in Budapest is still ongoing. :) Here are some impressions of my week for you.
My bike Inge, ready for takeoff! :) (No the name is decided!)
Starting at the Passau-WG :)
Old sign with prices for crossing the bridge in Passau.
Photo from the bridge.
Here I stood at the place where the river Inn, Donau and Ilz come together. Left side is the Inn, right side is the Donau and the Ilz (which you couldn't see, cause the ship is parking so unfavourable).
The river Inn. :)
Here a sunny moment. :)
The white thing you see in the air is hail. :P
Hail!
After the hail, we had a nice blue sky again. :)
The yin and yang picture :)
...again :)
After only 30 KM this day I stopped in the guesthouse Kornexl in Untergriesbach. It was a really nice place, wich had an old touch from outside with a modern look inside. :) I wrote the last blog and watched TV. :)
The day with the badest weatherforecast for the hole week! 8 Liters of water per square meter and windspeed of 40km/h.
Start of the day - my look out of my window.
After the first two hours I had a nice surprise: I meet Matze, my first companion, who is also cycling to Linz which is my destination for today. My first daytrip with somebody together. We had a great time and it was really nice, to talk with him about life and especially about the bad weather for the day (which was really better than the forecast).
Here our taxi over the Donau comes
In the fairy
Our good deed for the day - we pushed the wood away from the street. :)
really windy!
Here we have a really huge watergate.
I only know them from our bootspartys and this one is about 3 times bigger!
Matze discovered the alps!
Alps :)
Matze on a bridge :)
Nice play of colours.
Here we meet a guy who is traveling from hong kong to germany and belgium. For us the wind came the most oft the time from the backside.... if we had to drive towards the wind, it was really hard. This poor guy had to drive the hole day against the hard wind!
Matze at a big sculpture in Linz
Me in the same position.
After we searched a bit, we found my destiantion - the youth hostel on a little hill in Linz - Matze helped me carrying my stuff to my room and we said good bye. Was a very nice time with you bro! :D
As I woke up it was Snowing.... what a start in the day. After a while the snow was away... cause it was hailing *mmmööööööppp*. This day the clouds are the most of the time about 50 to 100 meters in front of me, and it was raining. The wind was blowing with about 30 to 40 km/h so the sunny side was the most of the time in front of me, but I wasn't fast enough to pass the clouds. I missed my companion Matze and did my way alone again. This day was my first day with over 100KM and in the end I had 120 KM on my bike-computer. Here are some impressions.
Little impression of my start in Linz
While the sun beats the clouds it is still snowing. :)
Nice play of colours again. :)
Saw a hawk.. was not close enough but you can see him :)
For a while this picture I saw, when I looked in to the front...
...and this was behind me. Maybe the reason for the tough trip of 120 KM :P
for some hours sun wins :D
Nice colourplay again :)
Sun wins the fight :D
Man in the mirror :D
After about 110 KM - raining again.
A great light bevor the sunrise at the donau. At the right you see the Stift of the city Melk.
My destination for the day, was planned in St. Pölten at Markus home, a warmshowers host. This morning I had no internet, no card from Austria on my GPS system and as I arrived in Melk I already had about 120 KM for this day on my speedometer. As I didn't found the way google maps send me up a hill where I reached an impasse. I was completely wet, my shoes was cold since the first hour of driving. I was finished and told Markus, that I wouldn't get it to St. Pölten. So he was really friendly and picked me up with his car. We parked my bike at the trainstation and drove to his flat. We had a nice meal and spoke friendly. :) For this night, he saved my ass! I think if he didn't picked me up, i get the worst cold since a long time. Thanks for that again!
I took a train to Melk, where my bike was. Markus stored my things in his car, and we meet up at his work. So i drove the fist 25 KM without my heavy stuff on my bike. It was a really great experience, cause I felt how strong my lags became already. Up the hill, with 20 KM/H wasn't a problem. BAM!!! :D
I meet Markus at his work, he gave me my stuff and we said good bye. :)
Me and Markus. Thanks again for your great support! :)

And my destination for the next week in focus :D
In the night I arrived at a youth hostel and checked in for the hole weekend! My first cycle-free weekend since Würzburg! Jaaaayyyy :D
Friday the 3th of April
As I startet my day, I meet some nice guys from Germany. Shawn, Lars, Josti and Fabio. Shawn played football at the TS Ober-Roden, my hometown and Lars was also on the LGS in Dieburg, a school I visited long time ago. Really funny to meet them and we had a great time. We visited the nature historic museum. Here are some impressions....

As you could see, the museum was great and I could recommend you a visit, if you go to Viena!
We had a relaxed afternoon in the hostel, drunk some wine, eat a sandwich, played some pool and talked much bullshit. (I think especially me ;P ) :) In the night we said good bye. Was a really cool day, guys! :) Hope you had a great time in Prag!
Saturday the 4th of April
I startet my day on the multiculturel marked. After lunch I drove trough the City. Here are some impressions... :)

In the night I visited the club "Grelle Forelle". In this club the soundsystem was build by Reinhard Nell, the founder of Lambda Labs. His soundsystems are also hostet by Deluxe Sound from my friend Michi, who equipped our partys at home. Reinhard gave me the contact to Wolfgang from Pro Performance who organised a free entry and a look behind the scenes of the club and the technical approach. In the club it wasn't allowed to make some pictures, which I support. So no impressions for you right now. But it was very nice inside. The walls had an RGB effect, which means, that there where pictures painted on the walls in red, green and blue. A LED strobe flashed in all three colours, so the different pictures was visible, when the right light flashed. (I hope you can imagine what I mean :P ). I meet a funny guy - Siegfried from Östereich and had nice conversations with Maren and Anna from the wardrobe. :) Didi the nightmanager from the club gave me a view behind the scenes. After this, I drunk a little bit, listend to the music, which was a bit to hard for my taste but I was very impressed by the sound system! Was definitely not my last time in the Grelle Forelle! :)
Sunday the 5th of April
I woke up at 12 o'clock and went out to search a good lunch for the Ostersonntag :). While I'm searching I meet Lukas, who droves to the Europa Cafe and took me with him. He is an open minded person and we had a great conversation. Interesting how personable people can become in such a short time. Afterwords he invited me for the lunch. Which you all the best! :)
For the rest of today, I only planned to lay in my bed, finish the last season of breaking bad and order a pizza later. Tomorrow I will start again to Bratislava.
Wish all of you a nice easter Sunday.
Cheers!
